PI22G – 22kV, Composite Station Post Insulator

This insulator consists of a polymeric housing over a pultruded fibreglass rod to which galvanised steel or aluminium end fittings are attached. By moulding directly over the end fitting, or by using a track-resistant polyurethane sealant, moisture ingress to the fibreglass rod is prevented.
