A.N. Wallis is a manufacturer and supplier of Nickel Plated Solid Copper Earth Rods. These earth rods are designed for use where extremely high corrosion resistance and exceptionally long life are required. Nickel plated solid copper earth rods are produced from solid copper bar and are internally threaded for jointing, these rods are then nickel electroplated to 100 microns. Multiple nickel plated solid copper earth rods are joined together by using coupling dowels.
When deep driving a nickel plated solid copper earth rod the usual practice is to insert the rod into a borehole and backfill with either Low Resistance Earthing Compound or Bentonite.
